Matt's Birthday

Matt's 31st birthday was no big production this year. We had limited funds and very little time to plan. We had a simple dinner at home, followed by a snickers cake. He received many phone calls, texts, and emails from those he loves. He also received a very appropriately worded birthday card from my parents (you'll have to ask him about that, I'm sure he'll be more than happy share) along with some cash. His biggest surprise was his new 40" HDTV. I allowed him to see it the night before, needless to say come bed time he was having a hard time sleeping knowing what he had in the garage.

Walking Matt over to his gift.

Matt's second short reaction.

Jeff & Sheri's Wedding

A very good looking groom with a his beautiful mom moments before the ceremony started.

These four handsome men were just hanging out. Best looking one is the one on the left. If I do say so myself ;o). Two cute boys, hanging out, looking cute, doing what they do.

The Buckley kids. What a good looking bunch.

The wedding was a great success. The location was wonderful. The bride looked beautiful and the groom radiantly happy. Sheri's mom is a wonderful cook, everything was delicious and the cake was SO sinfully good! Connie made all the floral decorations and I have to say she outdoes herself every time.

Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Jeff Buckley!

My Birthday ! ! !

July 15th 2008, My 28th birthday. Hurray! I'm two years closer to being 30! Believe it or not I'm actually looking forward to being 30, sometimes, only when I think about the discount on my insurance. Matt and I went to San Diego for my birthday, we had a picnic on the beach at Coronado Island, and spent the rest of the day in one of my favorite places, Sea World!!!! We had fun watching the many families rushing to try and see everything while Matt and I were selective and took our time to get around. The next day we headed back to Yuma. We stopped at Julian, a little town in the mountains, known for their famous homemade apple pie. If you ask Matt about this it was probably the most boring two or three hours of the trip as you can plainly see in the last picture. But I had fun :o)

Nashville

My Conference in Nashville went well. I got to go to the Grand Ole Opry, got to see Trace Adkins. Took a tour on the General Jackson's boat, got flashed, that was fun. Went to Opry Mills Mall, did very little shopping, one book :o). Nashville is truly beautiful, but I guess anything green would be gorgeous in comparison to the desert. I got to hang out with the Nashville Buckley's Brian, Caron, Zach and Ian. Zach was so cute he actually remembers who I am now, so that was fun. Ian is getting so big now, he's walking, talking, and fighting with his big brother. They are too cute. We went on a nice boat ride around the inside of the hotel, Zach was find until he heard about the sea monster then I think for a second he considered jumping off the boat. It was a great time can't wait to be back.
